Hello, I’m Kira Akin, and I’m thrilled to join the Guardian Veterinary Center family as a Veterinary Technician. My passion for animals started at home with my three pups and guinea pigs, and I bring that same compassion and attentiveness to every patient I treat. As someone who truly ‘speaks’ animal, my goal is to ensure each visit to our clinic is a Fear-Free experience for your pets.

Originally from Texas, I cherish the joys of homesteading and love spending time hiking, reading, and caring for my new brood of baby chicks. My nurturing spirit and commitment to animal well-being drive my work here at Guardian Vet Center, where every patient’s comfort and care is my top priority.
